Noel has begun to teach an evening class Kensington and Chelsea college
in the Hortensia road site. Kensington and Chelsea is now one of the few
colleges left in England to offer full time millinery courses and is run
by the great Kirsten Scott who worked with Karl Lagerfeld when he first
went to Chanel. It is the Wednesday evening workshop and runs from 6 till
9.

A stylist requested one of Noel's Autumn Winter collection to be put int
the black british style exhibition at the V&A. It is currently on
display in the section labelled as contemporary black british style and
is used as part of a typical evening outfit.

Following the recent up surge of interest in mens fashion Noel decided
that it was time to start giving men a piece of the action too! Keeping
within the stylish framework of the womens collection, Noel has
created a compact mens hat collection using traditional wools and
tweeds. He has also created a set of blocked felts which have been trimmed
with a simple but stunning printed Petersham band, designed in conjunction
with Lisa Stickley, London. This collection is for the man that has been
crying out for fashion conscious headwear for years.

Having just shown his second collection, Noel Stewart is certainly going
to be the hottest new kid on the Fashion Block! His creations have already
been seen in the coolest style bibles, including Flux, Harpers & Queen
and British Elle! His Autumn Winter collection has been snapped up by
Selfridges who bought the whole range, bar two styles! They were so taken
with his collection that they decided to buy from the Spring Summer 2004
range! Very good going for such a new label!!! Barneys in New York
are also selling the Spring Summer range, and will also be stocking Autumn
Winter.
